In addition active security consists of security guards on duty 24/7.   The Staff are forbidden to carry any magnetic media means of moving data and all visitors are escorted throughout their stay.   Data Security   Infotronics follows robust practices to ensure all data is protected and information is secure. The company conforms to the Data Protection Act 1998 and guarantees that all information provided by clients, for the provision of services, is maintained in strictest confidence. Disclosures are only made to those actually working on subject operations on a 'need to know' basis. The company also uses PGP software to ensure that data exchanged between relevant parties is sent in an-encrypted format only accessible to authorised staff of either party.   Disaster Recovery   At Infotronics there are three levels of redundancy in back up provision, with one mirror system maintained off site to ensure that data is not lost irrevocably.
